I live in the Fort Hamilton side of Bay Ridge, off the 86th R train stop, five minutes walk to subway (only access to R train from my apartment) and several bus lines. No washer/dryer in building, no dishwasher. There is a 3 floor walk up. There are only 8 units in the building, all families or older folks, it's very safe (ie, no package theft) as is the neighborhood. Utilities are con Edison and Wifi, I get discounts on both.
