2 beds • 1 bath
ROOMMATE NEEDED — HELL’S KITCHEN | NOV. 1 Hi everyone! I’m looking for a roommate to join me on a new 1-year lease for my 2 bed/1 bath apartment in Hell’s Kitchen starting November 1st. I’ve been living here with my sister, but she recently got engaged and is moving out, so I’m hoping to find someone great to take the larger bedroom and stay in a home I already really love! I’m actively looking to lock something in ASAP with someone who is serious about signing the new lease. There may also be some flexibility for an earlier move-in if needed. THE APARTMENT • 6th/top floor + elevator building • In-building laundry • Full kitchen with dishwasher, gas oven/stove & plenty of cabinet/counter space • Hardwood floors + additional hallway closet/storage • Secure double-entry building with intercom • Mail/package area • Very close to 42nd St–Port Authority subway station + M42 & M11 buses THE AVAILABLE ROOM • Larger of the two bedrooms • Two closets • Two windows with lots of natural light • Fire escape outside the room LEASE DETAILS • New 1-year lease beginning November 1st • Potential flexibility for an earlier move-in • Looking for someone ready to move forward with the lease ASAP • Applicants must financially qualify; guarantors are accepted • Utilities fluctuate by season A LITTLE ABOUT ME I’m 23, originally from California, and currently a Fashion Business student. I also work and intern, so my weekdays can get pretty busy, but I really value having a comfortable and welcoming home to come back to. I’m friendly, social, and pretty easygoing. I love music, movies and TV, cooking/baking, art, reading, being outside, and exploring the city. I’m always down for a spontaneous plan or night out, but I equally love cooking dinner and having a cozy night at home. I also have a cat, so you’ll have a little furry roommate too! I’m very animal-friendly, and another pet could potentially be discussed depending on how they get along. ROOMMATE-WISE I’d ideally love to find another girl in her 20s who is friendly, communicative, LGBTQ+ friendly, and considerate of our shared home. I appreciate keeping common spaces clean and comfortable, but I’m not expecting perfection—we all have busy weeks! Guests and partners are totally fine with me as long as we communicate and are considerate of each other. Smoking/THC friendly as long as it’s kept outside. I’d also love to have a roommate I can genuinely be friends with—whether that’s grabbing drinks, cooking together, watching a show, or exploring the city—while still respecting each other’s privacy, boundaries, and separate lives. If you’re seriously looking for a November apartment and think we might be a good fit, please message me! Tell me a little about yourself, what you do, and your move-in/lease situation. I’m happy to answer questions, share a video, and set up a time to see the apartment. And please feel free to share/send this to anyone you think might be a good fit!
