We’ve got a bright, fully furnished bedroom available in our double-storey 4-bed flat in Stepney Green, Tower Hamlets. We’re on the prettiest leafiest street in Stepney (honestly), just a 5-min walk to Stepney Green station, 10 mins to Whitechapel, and 15 mins to Bethnal Green. Close to Tesco and the Genesis Cinema/George Tavern. The flat has wooden floors throughout, particularly lovely lighting, feels warm and cosy in the winter, and has a great layout. We’ve got— - a spacious open-plan living/dining room/kitchen area that we love. - Balcony overlooking lovely trees (same view from the available room) - Separate bathroom and toilet upstairs Who we're looking for: Ideally a woman/nb person aged 25–29 who works away from the house and is happy to commit to at least a year here. We are all very busy and respect eachothers space and schedules but equally we really get on, so we often eat together/spend time together in the living room. It would be great if you are up for hanging out a little when we do have a dinner/drinks or watch a film:) We try and be quiet after 10/10.30 in the week, because the house is a little echoey (darn those gorgeous floors). Currently enjoying: indie films and cinemas (especially LFF, plus Genesis down the road), kombucha, live music and records (our collection is growing by the day!), and (attempting to) learn her guitar. Heli (26, she/her)— Heli is a musician/teacher/odd jobs person/GBV and refugee support caseworker who loves to have a giggle in the living room, make wierd combinations of food and generally hang out.
